Writing on the comp.sys.sinclair (CSS) newsgroup, Chris Young, who runs the 'Your Sinclair: A Celebration' and Unsatisfactory Software Web sites, revealed his favourites.

However, we think Chris's first choice was rather tongue in cheek, given that Catona Football was originally entered in the CSS newsgroup's annual Crap Games Competiton. Released in 1996, the aim of the game is "to be sent off the field as soon as possible after the game has started". As a player you "control Eric as he moves around the field in search of his victims". Click HERE for more information on this, er, great game!
Commenting on his third choice, Chris said: "MPSM is the best footie management game I've ever played, mainly because it doesn't get bogged down with tedious stats involving what the players had for breakfast."
In reply to Chris's posting to the newsgroup, Fuzzbucket said: "The only one I've played from there is Matchday 2. Epic battles took place around our little black friend, between myself and a friend of mine. We spent most of our pocket money on new joysticks for around six months."
